1. To delete account in desktop or laptop, first sign in your account on “google .com”

2. Click on the grid icon in the top right side and select the account option

3. Then click on Privacy and Personalization

4. Now next to this you will get the option of download and delete data, click on the option “delete a google service” given below it

5. Now you will have the option to sign in your account again, then sign it again

6. Now if you have any important information or data in your Gmail, then download it from the option with download data or click on the trash option given next to Gmail.

7. Now a pop-up page will open in front of you in which you have to enter your alternate Gmail id which you use the most.

8. Now you will see the option of send verification Gmail, click on it, after that a mail will come on alternate Gmail where you will get “deletion link” click on ur

9. Here you will be asked to login to delete Gmail, next to that there will be an option of “yes ‘ I want to delete “, click on that and do it by clicking on delete Gmail.
